In line with one of its objectives which is to enhance cross-cultural understanding and communication among various African Cultures, the Pan-African Writers Association (PAWA), today , Saturday ,September 11, 2021 in Cairo, Egypt signed a Cooperation Agreement for the Establishment of a Translation Bureau with four(4) other Literary Organisations.

The Organisations are: The ArabĀ  Writers Union, the Egyptian Writers’ Union, the Egyptian Society of Comparative Literature and the Egyptian Circle of Comparative Poetics.

Apart from translating books written in the various National African languages, the Bureau will also publish and exchange translated books internationally among other functions
